It acts as a wireless system to take orders from diners and send real-time print commands to the restaurant kitchen and billing table — all over the restaurant's own LAN WiFi router, within a small vicinity.
It exists strictly to remove the hassle of waiters walking back and forth taking orders and communicating with chefs and owners by hand.
